Dong Thap – Provincial Employment Service Center has connected 16 businesses to recruit nearly 2,200 workers.

On October 13, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hieu, Director of Dong Thap Employment Service Center confirmed that at the 24th Job Fair held over the weekend, 16 businesses participated in recruiting nearly 2,200 workers.

The new point in this Job Fair is that 50% of businesses are recruiting workers online. According to the Centre, businesses are recruiting workers for 1,388 positions inside and outside the province.

Labor export enterprises recruit about 800 positions in many different professions: Accounting, statistics, nursing, sales staff, mechanical and electrical engineering staff, food processing workers, seafood processing workers, laundry workers, textile workers, electronic component inspectors, etc.

In addition, at this Job Fair, the Centre also organized interviews to select employees to work at Shanghai Hangtai (VN) Company with 28 candidates working in Cao Lanh City on the occasion of the company's official start of operation in mid-November 2024.

It is known that since the beginning of the year, the Centre has organized 24 Job Transaction sessions right at the unit and in districts and cities in the province.

Through 23 Job Fairs, 36,500 workers have been connected to jobs, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality. According to tradition, after a week of interviews, the recruitment units will notify the successful candidates.
