On December 1 and 2, the Office of the Investigation Police Agency, Dak Lak Provincial Police coordinated with the Hoan Hao General Examination Department (Buon Ma Thuot Ward) to organize a free medical examination and medicine supply program for 1,000 people in Hoa Thinh Commune.
This is one of the localities that suffered the most damage in the recent historic flood. The medical team consists of 8 specialties and 2 pharmacists, led by Mr. Nguyen Dai Phong, former Director of the Central Highlands Hospital.

Mr. Phong said that through the examination, people mainly suffered from dermatological diseases, ear, nose, throat, eyes, diarrhea and post-disaster psychological problems.
"In addition to giving medicine, doctors also provide intensive treatment consultation for patients with underlying diseases. We hope to contribute a small part to support the people, Mr. Phong shared.

In particular, the delegation also visited 31 families of deceased people and presented each household with 1 million VND. The People's Committee of Hoa Thinh commune said that the recent flood has disrupted people's lives. Of which, 25 people died, 4,820 houses were completely flooded, more than 200 houses were collapsed or damaged, along with many damages to agriculture and infrastructure, the total estimated damage was more than VND 610 billion.

In this situation, the People's Committee of Hoa Thinh commune has recommended that all levels and sectors implement policies to extend, close, and eliminate debts for households borrowing from banks, especially policy households, households with deaths, poor and near-poor households. At the same time, it is proposed to support plant and animal varieties so that people can soon stabilize their economy.
