On the evening of July 19, a small fishing boat of Mr. Truong Van Hong (born in 1962) and his boat partner Mr. Hoang Van Minh (born in 1968) were both in Dong Tay village, Co Dam commune, fishing in coastal areas when they encountered big waves and strong winds, causing them to capsize, and both fishermen fell into the sea.
After that, the rescue team promptly rescued fisherman Truong Van Hong while he was holding a piece of wood floating at sea, while fisherman Hoang Van Minh was still missing.
Currently, the authorities of Co Dam commune, Lach Ken Border Guard Station and fishermen are continuing to search for fisherman Hoang Van Minh.
