According to Lao Dong on the afternoon of December 8 and the morning of December 9, most of the households subject to site clearance for the Ring Road 1 construction project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section through Giang Vo ward, have completed the handover of the site to the project.
Some people renting premises for business and trading along the route are urgently moving assets and furniture to return the premises.
Many works within the site clearance area are also being demolished by machinery. The work was urgently deployed.

The project to build Ring Road 1, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, is more than 2.2 km long, passing through 3 wards of O Cho Dua, Giang Vo and Lang. The project has a total investment of more than 7,200 billion VND, invested by the Hanoi Civil Works Construction Investment Project Management Board.
The project was approved in December 2017 and was expected to be completed in 2020, but was behind schedule due to land clearance problems.
Recently, under the strong direction of the Hanoi Party Committee and People's Committee, the project's site clearance work has recorded positive changes.
According to the direction of Hanoi Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc, by December 15 at the latest, the wards must complete site clearance to implement the project.

In Giang Vo ward, the Ring Road 1 project through the area has a total of 795 site clearance plans. On November 21, the People's Committee of Giang Vo Ward completed the approval of 795/795 plans.
As of the afternoon of December 8, there were about 20 households in the ward that had not yet handed over the site, a decrease of nearly 80% compared to the number of households that had not yet handed over the site on December 4.
The ward continues propaganda, mobilization, and urging households to urgently relocate and hand over the site, minimizing the majority of households having to organize compulsory land recovery.
According to the plan, tomorrow morning (December 10), the authorities of Giang Vo ward and the city will simultaneously carry out compulsory land recovery to serve the site clearance of the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section for organizations and individuals using areas that have been decided to be reclaimed.
The authorities will organize the movement of all furniture and assets (if any) of individuals, households and organizations in the enforcement area to reclaim the entire site, including: Area of houses, land and construction works on the land according to the issued land recovery decisions.
After the recovery, the ward will hand over the site to the Hanoi Civil Works Construction Investment Project Management Board for receipt and management in accordance with the provisions of law.
The People's Committee of Giang Vo Ward said that the enforcement of land recovery will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of law; ensuring the safety of people, property, vehicles and forces participating in enforcement to handle violations, preventing unexpected incidents. The enforcement was completely implemented by Giang Vo ward and there was a plan to protect and ensure against re-offensive encroachment.

Mr. Co Nhu Dung, Chairman of Giang Vo Ward People's Committee, requested units to grasp the security and order situation, ensure absolute safety, before, during and after enforcement; arrange appropriate forces, mobilize all necessary means to serve the enforcement work.
Mr. Dung also requested the arrangement of 24/24-hour citizen reception; continue to review the relocation progress of households that have signed land handover minutes; review households that deliberately do not hand over land, and include them in the list for enforcement.
