On February 19, according to information from the Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, this unit is taking steps to propose the investment policy for the extended Huong Lo 2 project, section 2, with a total length of about 5.2km.
The total estimated investment capital is nearly VND 2,500 billion, of which the construction cost is more than VND 1,400 billion, the site clearance cost for the completion phase with a width of 60m is nearly 999 billion VND.
Huong Lo 2 has a starting point intersecting with National Highway 51 and an ending point intersecting with the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway.
According to the plan, this will be a new traffic axis connecting Bien Hoa City with Ho Chi Minh City, shortening the distance and travel time, while contributing to reducing traffic volume on National Highway 51.
Currently, Huong Lo 2, section 1 from National Highway 51 to the intersection with the existing asphalt road (An Hoa - Long Hung road, Long Hung commune, Bien Hoa city) is under construction investment.
At the same time, Vam Cai Sut bridge on Huong Lo 2 has completed construction. However, with section 2 of Huong Lo 2, connecting from the border of Long Hung commune to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway, investment has not yet been implemented.
Section 2 of Huong Lo 2 includes 2 branches connecting from the border of Long Hung commune to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.
