At the Ring Road 1 project, section Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc (phase 1), with a length of 2.3km, cross section of 50m and component of 2 overpasses at Lang Ha - Nguyen Chi Thanh intersection. The starting point of the route intersects with Cat Linh - La Thanh - Yen Lang road at Hoang Cau (Dong Da district), the ending point is at Voi Phuc intersection (Ba Dinh district). The investment in phase 1 of the project is more than 7.2 trillion VND from the city budget, of which construction costs are 627 billion VND and site clearance costs are 5.8 trillion VND. To date, the project has disbursed 34.1% of the capital plan.
At the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6 section from Ba La intersection (Ha Dong) to Xuan Mai town (Chuong My district), construction will start in 2022 and is expected to be completed in 2027, with a total cost of over 8,100 VND. billion. Of which, site clearance costs are more than 5,000 billion VND; Construction and equipment costs are more than 2,900 billion VND.
According to reporters, the project has been under construction for 2 years but progress has been sluggish. Along the route, only the section passing through Phu Nghia commune, Chuong My district has been paved and paved with stones on the roadbed surface. Currently, there are 7 road bridges and 1 newly built box culvert on the route. Among them, Tan Truong bridge (Xuan Mai town, Chuong My district) is under construction, with both sides of the bridge abutments completed.
This section will be upgraded to 4-6 lanes, design speed 80km/h, roadbed width opened 50-60m, contributing to completing the radial road connecting National Highway 21A, Ho Chi Minh Road and Ho Chi Minh City. Ring Road 4 - Capital Region. To date, the project has disbursed 7.7% of the capital plan.
The project is at risk of delay due to land problems
As for the Thang Long Highway, the section connecting National Highway 21 to the Hanoi - Hoa Binh Expressway, after nearly 9 months of construction, the project is only in the construction phase of the first items. The reason for the delay is lack of space.
