On July 30, the People's Committee of Ganh Dau Commune, Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang) announced that when local authorities arrived to enforce measures to rectify administrative violations in the field of land management, the four violating households voluntarily dismantled their structures and rectified the violations.
According to the plan of the People's Committee of Phu Quoc City, the Enforcement Committee was to organize the enforcement of measures to rectify administrative violations in the field of land management against Ms. Nguyen Nguyet A, Mr. Nguyen Van K, Mr. Nguyen Thanh L, and Ms. Nguyen Thi My C.
Specifically, Ms. A occupied 1,153m2 of land, Mr. K occupied 640.1m2, Mr. L occupied 133.8m2, and Ms. C occupied 114m2 of land. Authorities determined that Mr. L and Mr. K occupied resettlement land, while Ms. A and Ms. C occupied land managed by the state.
On the occupied land, the four households had built permanent houses, architectural structures, and various other assets.
Mr. Huynh Van Dinh - Head of the Natural Resources and Environment Department of Phu Quoc City - stated that when the enforcement team arrived to carry out the enforcement according to the city's regulations and plan, the households voluntarily dismantled and relocated their assets and structures from the violation area. The enforcement team also assisted the violating households in relocating their assets.
