In April 2025, Mr. Chau Ngo Anh Nhan - Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Finance informed about some contents after the merger between Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces.
The above information was shared at the conference to implement the Central Government's policy on merging provincial-level administrative units between Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces.
For the administrative headquarters of departments, branches, and sectors, the Provincial People's Committee Office in Ninh Thuan, the orientation is to arrange for a department to regularly receive and handle administrative procedures for people and businesses in the area in the early stages.
In addition, the Department arranges 1-2 deputy heads of specialized agencies to work at these headquarters to direct cadres and civil servants to perform their tasks.
The Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Finance also said that there are regulations on the standard standard of public housing for department leaders and equivalent.
For the positions of provincial leaders and leaders of departments and branches, they will be arranged at the Provincial Party Committee Guest House, No. 2 Tran Hung Dao, Nha Trang City.
For transportation for cadres, civil servants and public employees from Ninh Thuan to Nha Trang to work, the province has proposed 4 options for cadres, civil servants and public employees to choose, in accordance with their personal wishes.
The first is official vehicles, supporting weekly pick-up and drop-off, one way to go and one way to return.
Second, traveling independently by private vehicle and receiving travel funding support.
Third is to use buses according to a fixed route arranged by the Provincial People's Committee.
Fourth is the use of trains and being supported with travel costs. Based on actual needs, the Provincial People's Committee will discuss with bus service providers to arrange fixed daily vehicles for cadres, civil servants and public employees to use.
1,499 people are expected to work from Ninh Thuan to Nha Trang
It is expected that the number of cadres, civil servants and public employees of Ninh Thuan province coming to Khanh Hoa to work after the merger will be 1,449 people. Of which, the Party and mass organizations are expected to have 350 people, and the government is expected to have 1,099 people.
Currently, Khanh Hoa province is managing 468 headquarters of departments, branches, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, of which there are 49 surplus facilities. Regarding public housing in Khanh Hoa province, the Provincial Party Committee Guest House currently has 12 apartments, the public housing and other housing funds under management are 38 apartments and some real estate facilities in Nha Trang city managed by the Provincial Development Investment Fund can be reclaimed as agency headquarters or public housing.
For Ninh Thuan province, there is currently a Provincial People's Committee Guest House, which is both a political and tourist activity, with a total of 45 rooms, 1 VIP room and a restaurant.
Second is the Provincial Party Committee's Office House, which is also used for political activities and tourists, with a total of 7 rooms to accommodate officials on business trips.
The joint working headquarters of the Provincial Party Committee, National Assembly Delegation, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee is in the completion stage and will be put into operation from October 2025.
In addition to building a new headquarters, the province also renovated the current headquarters of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to serve as a working place for the province's Party agencies, and it is expected that the renovation and repair will be completed by the end of 2025.
