On March 10, My Thuan Project Management Board launched a "50-day and night" emulation movement to speed up the construction progress of the Can Tho - Hau Giang and Hau Giang - Ca Mau expressway sections.
Mr. Tran Van Thi - Director of My Thuan Project Management Board - said that the Management Board and units are mobilizing maximum resources, working continuously on holidays, holidays, and Tet, with the determination to complete the work.

To ensure progress, the units have set 6 important goals in the "50 day and night" emulation campaign. Specifically, units and contractors will increase the mobilization of human resources, machinery and materials to speed up the construction progress of packages of the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway project.
Before March 31, the loading and handling of weak soil and all bridges on the route must be completed. Strive to complete the treatment of the foundation with cement piles by April 30, gather the amount of crushed stone aggregate to reach 70% or more and gather and construct the soil for embankment to cover the slope to reach 80% or more.

All contractors, supervision consultants, officers, engineers and workers are committed to continuous construction in 3 shifts, 4 teams, working through holidays and days off to complete tasks, ensuring quality and labor safety.
The Can Tho - Ca Mau Expressway Project is over 110km long, with a total investment of over VND 27,500 billion, including 2 component projects: Can Tho - Hau Giang (37km, 10,370 billion VND) and Hau Giang - Ca Mau (73km, 17,152 billion VND). Construction started in January 2023 and is expected to be completed in 2025.
