The snake mascot is about 4.5m tall, shaped like a cobra with its neck spread out, stretching itself in a position ready to attack its prey.
According to the village representative, this snake mascot was painstakingly made by many craftsmen and took a lot of effort, taking 2 months to complete. The total height including the pedestal is 4.5m, the snake's body is coiled into 3 circles, about 3m wide.
The inside of the snake body is made of aluminum mold and the outside is made of fiberglass from virgin resin.
Standing next to the snake mascot at the craft village, many tourists were delighted when the snake looked like a real snake, somewhat majestic.
Mr. Nguyen Vu Long (a tourist from Buon Ma Thuot City) was very impressed when he saw the snake mascot displayed at Truong Son craft village this year.
"This year's mascot in the craft village impresses me more than previous years. I believe that the artisans must be very skilled to be able to make a snake that looks so real," said Mr. Long.
A representative of Truong Son craft village said that every time Tet comes, the unit will make mascots to display for tourists to admire. These mascots will have different ideas each year and next year will definitely be more beautiful than the previous year.
