Lao Cai - 5 households in Bao Nhai commune (Bac Ha) whose houses were damaged by landslides and affected the structure, with the potential risk of collapse, have been relocated to a safe place.

Bao Nhai Commune People's Committee (Bac Ha District) informed that at 5:00 a.m. on October 8, households in Khoi Xa residential area, Khoi Xa Ngoai village heard a loud noise. When checking behind the house, people discovered that soil and rocks rolled down from the hill, damaging the outbuildings and the walls of the first floor.

Upon receiving the news, Bao Nhai commune authorities mobilized forces to help move people and property to safety.

Initial statistics show that 5 houses and a gas station were affected. Currently, due to the dangerous landslide, some households are unable to enter their houses to move their belongings out.

According to the leader of Bao Nhai Commune People's Committee, because the landslide residential area is located right next to National Highway 4E (Bac Ngam - Bao Nhai), in addition to having to urgently evacuate 5 households to a safe place, the local government also blockaded the landslide area and directed functional forces to be on duty to warn to ensure traffic safety.
