Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, Dao Quang Khai, has just signed and issued Decision No. 214/QD-UBND to allocate 204,338.1 m2 of land (phase 2) in Xuan Lai commune, Gia Binh district to the Mobile Police Command - Ministry of Public Security to build Gia Binh Airport.
Accordingly, Gia Binh District People's Committee; Gia Binh District Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council; Xuan Lai Commune People's Committee; Gia Binh District Construction Project Management Board is responsible before the law for completed site clearance (including the relocation of cemeteries, relocation of power lines...); accuracy and honesty of land origin, land types and compensation and support results at the project according to regulations.
Assign the Department of Agriculture and Environment to determine the boundary and hand over land on site; direct the Provincial Land Registration Office to update and edit the land database and cadastral records according to regulations.
Started in December 2024, phase 1 of the Gia Binh airport project with a land use scale of about 125 hectares in Xuan Lai commune and Gia Binh town (Gia Binh district, Bac Ninh province) is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Immediately after starting the project, the Mobile Police Command - the investor unit urged contractors to focus maximum human resources and equipment to speed up the project's construction progress.
By mid-February, the project had completed 3 routes to the project, filling more than 300,000 m3 of land; and is conducting geological surveys to handle locations with weak land.
During the construction process, the investor and contractors always receive support, agreement and support from local authorities and people.
The Prime Minister requested the Gia Binh airport to be planned to expand into an international airport.
Hanoi City has also agreed on the plan to build a nearly 50km, 120m wide road connecting Gia Binh airport with the center of the capital.
Currently, Bac Ninh province is completing the procedures for site clearance for phase 2 of the Gia Binh airport project.
