Bac Ninh - The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested an inspection and handling of the reflection of a large-scale illegal market in the heart of the city.

The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just sent an official dispatch to the Department of Industry and Trade; Department of Agriculture and Environment; Provincial Police and the People's Committee of Bac Ninh city.

Accordingly, according to the press agency, in Phuong Vy area, Vu Ninh ward, Bac Ninh city, recently a bustling and noisy temporary agricultural market with an area of tens of thousands of square meters and a fee has appeared.

Regarding this, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the provincial Police and the People's Committee of Bac Ninh City to organize the inspection of the press information reflected; strictly handle violating organizations and individuals in accordance with the law (if any); Report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee before May 13, 2025.

Previously, the press agency reported the situation of a temporary market in Vu Ninh ward (Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province) with a large scale of up to hundreds of "stores" of agricultural products illegally traded.

At this market, selling "bills" every month is estimated to have brought illegal profits to some individuals that could be up to billions of VND.

The temporary market has been in operation for many months, causing many consequences and frustration.

People living near the area reported that every day there are encroachments on roads and sidewalks, violations of traffic safety corridors, and large gatherings.
