On the morning of June 13, information from Huong Lap Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Border Guard), at km 195 of Ho Chi Minh Road in Huong Viet Commune (Huong Hoa District), a landslide occurred. Accordingly, a volume of about 50 m3 of rock and soil collapsed, overflowing onto the road, making it impossible for people and vehicles to travel. The authorities are coordinating with local authorities to set up warning checkpoints.
In the resettlement area of Cup village (Huong Lap commune, Huong Hoa district), a landslide with a length of about 50m of embankment also appeared. Currently, the Huong Lap Border Guard Station is coordinating with localities to mobilize people in areas at high risk of landslides to evacuate to safe places.

At km 280 of the Ho Chi Minh route, West branch, in Dakrong commune (Dakrong district, Quang Tri province), the amount of mud and soil spilled onto the road, making it impossible for many vehicles to travel. Currently, the authorities are urgently repairing and clearing the area to ensure safe traffic for people and vehicles.
According to the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Quang Tri province, heavy rain has caused many roads in Huong Hoa, Dakrong, and Hai Lang districts to be deeply flooded, causing isolation. Some damaged locations include half of the dam body broken in A Xau village (Lia commune, Huong Hoa district); the sand-separated dike section through An Nhon village in Hai Lang district broken with a length of about 120m; 1 drainage culvert in Trung Hai commune, Gio Linh district collapsed...
