According to the Gia Lai Province Hydrometeorological Station, at 1:00 p.m. on November 29, the center of the storm was at about 13.7 degrees north latitude; 112.3 degrees east longitude, in the northwest sea area of the central East Sea, the strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 9-10 (75-102 km/h), gusting to level 13, moving north, at a speed of 5km/h.
It is forecasted that by 1:00 p.m. on November 30, storm No. 15 will be about 340km from the east coast of Gia Lai - Dak Lak province, moving at a speed of 3km/h, with winds of level 9-10, gusts of level 13.

The northwest sea area of the central East Sea will have strong winds of level 7; the area near the storm center will have strong winds of level 8-10, gusts of level 12-13; waves 3-5m high, the area near the storm center will have 6-8m; the sea will be very rough.
Ship operating in these areas are likely to be affected by thunderstorms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
To respond to storm No. 15, the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command has directed the Regional Defense Commands (PTKV) to review and supplement the "4 on-site" plan; identify vulnerable points and high-risk areas; prepare forces and mobile vehicles, and be ready to evacuate people.
In particular, focusing on rescue and relief tasks; reinforcing embankments, clearing water flows; ensuring the safety of works and houses when situations arise.
The Provincial Military Command has established 3 temporary command posts at the PTKV 6 - An Nhon Dong Command, PTKV 1 - Hoai Nhon Nam Command and PTKV 5 - Ayun Pa Command. At the same time, the Provincial Border Guard Command was directed to establish a reserve command department to be ready to guide ships to storm shelters.
In recent days, in the estuary area, along Thi Nai lagoon and Quy Nhon port, many fishing boats have been towed to anchor in tightly windy areas and mangrove forests to avoid storms.
At Quy Nhon port, the Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard mobilized vehicles and officers and soldiers to mobilize fishermen to proactively respond to the storm; directly to each ship, boat, and cage to request urgent storm prevention, not to be subjective or negligent.
In Nhon Chau island commune, Mr. Duong Hiep Hung - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee - said that after the heavy damage from storm No. 13, the islanders have proactively responded to storm No. 15.
Currently, all ships on the island have been brought to the mainland of Gia Lai and Dak Lak provinces for shelter; the basket boats have also been raised. Storm No. 13 damaged 242 houses, so far the locality has repaired 236 houses, the rest are waiting for materials from the mainland.
