Ms. Nguyen Thi Tinh (living in Tu Liem ward, Hanoi) is still worried when two fires broke out in the alley just a month apart.
Living in a narrow alley, with houses growing close together on both sides, many households like Ms. Tinh have bought mini fire extinguishers to feel more secure.

"The house number 146 Me Tri Thuong opposite my house just had a fire, the fire burned down property, fortunately there were no human casualties. Now I sleep at night and hear a loud noise, so I wake up to see if there is a fire" - Ms. Tinh said.
Witnessing the fire at house number 73, lane 112, Me Tri Thuong on November 30, Mr. Tran Van Minh (living in Tu Liem ward) was worried when fires occurred continuously in the area.
Many people here believe that most of the houses are located in deep alleys, and fire trucks cannot reach the scene, so firefighting is difficult. The narrow alley, with only 2 motorbikes avoiding each other in some places, is not a rare situation in the capital.

Talking with Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Khac Tang (Head of residential group No. 4 Me Tri Thuong, Tu Liem ward) - informed that since the beginning of 2025, the residential group has also continuously organized and participated in fire prevention and fighting training sessions, instructing and warning people about fire safety.
There are many high-rise buildings, mini apartments, and rental businesses in the area, the most worrying thing is that there are still many temporary houses. In the past month, there have been 2 fires in the area, only causing property damage, luckily there were no human losses.

To reduce the number of cases and damage caused by fires, incidents, and accidents, in November 2025, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police (PCCC and CNCH) nationwide will continue to advise on the implementation of the Project to prevent and reduce fires that cause serious damage to people and property and improve the effectiveness of rescue work.
From there, disseminate knowledge and skills on fire prevention and fighting and rescue through QR codes with recommendations on fire prevention and fighting work, escape skills listed in residential areas, households, houses combined with production and business;
At the same time, build 2 models of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Joint Stock Team and Public Fire Fighting Point to promote the effectiveness of fire prevention and fighting safety in residential areas.
Local police (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho) continue to effectively maintain and deploy community experience centers on fire prevention and fighting and rescue, replicating at police in other localities across the country.
