On October 15, Mr. Luong Ngoc Huong - Principal of Lang Mon Primary School (Lang Mon Commune, Nguyen Binh District, Cao Bang Province) confirmed the above incident to reporters.
According to Mr. Huong, at around 3:39 p.m. on October 14, while the students were having recess, Luong Bao T (born in 2015), a 4th grade student at the school, unfortunately had a traffic accident.
"Student T ran across the street quite fast and was not paying attention, so he collided with a moving motorbike. After the accident, the teachers took him to the provincial general hospital for emergency treatment, but due to multiple injuries, he did not survive," Mr. Huong informed.
According to the principal, after the accident occurred, the authorities of Nguyen Binh district received and handled the case. The victim's family is currently arranging the funeral according to local customs. The motorcyclist involved in the accident has also reported the incident to the local police.
It is known that before the unfortunate incident, the victim lived with his family in Na Bao hamlet, Minh Tam commune, Nguyen Binh district.
