Hanoi - fell from a high-rise apartment building to the roof of a supermarket, an 11-year-old child had broken arms and legs, and was promptly rescued by authorities.

On the evening of December 9, a representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police informed about the incident of a child falling from a high floor of an apartment building to the roof of a supermarket in Ha Dong ward.

Accordingly, at 4:44 p.m., the authorities received information that a boy had fallen from a high floor in Building B of Hoan Kiem Plaza apartment building to the roof of a supermarket below.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Command Information Center - Hanoi City Police mobilized the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area No. 15, Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area No. 4 with 1 rescue vehicle; 1 ladder truck and 2 fire trucks and 21 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene of the incident.

The authorities identified the victim as a child about 11 years old. The victim had broken arms and legs; was alert but could not move on his own.

The victim was quickly given first aid, the injured locations were fixed and moved from the corrugated iron roof to a safe location by a ladder truck.
