Truong Sa island infirmary treats fisherman stabbed in the foot by fish

Khanh Hoa - Truong Sa Island infirmary has received and treated the fisherman who was stabbed by Mao Tien while fishing in Truong Sa.

At noon on March 10, Truong Sa island infirmary (Brigade 146, Naval Region 4) received and provided emergency care to fishermen injured while fishing in Truong Sa waters.

Previously, on the morning of March 10, fisherman Huynh Can, a crew member of fishing boat NT 90963TS (born in 1982, from Thanh Hai, Ninh Hai, Ninh Thuan), while fishing about 7 nautical miles from the island, was stung by Mao Tien fish.

Patient Huynh Can was taken to Truong Sa island with pain in his right foot, swelling, redness, and difficulty walking.

After examination, the doctors diagnosed the patient with a marine animal having venom stung on his feet and conducted a blood test, biological examination, pain relief, anti-inflammation, anti-inflammation, anti-inflammation and anti- allergy.

Currently, doctors and nurses at the infirmary continue to closely monitor the patient's health condition.
