On October 10, the Kim Boi District Construction Project Management Board announced that the unit was assigned to manage and implement 100 projects with a total investment of VND 1,187 billion (including projects in previous years). The capital allocated in 2024 is more than VND 203 billion, of which VND 157 billion has been disbursed, reaching over 77% of the plan.
Accordingly, there are 13 new projects starting construction in 2024 using district budget capital, with a total investment of 101 billion VND. The projects have signed contracts and handed over the site for construction contractors.
Transitional projects, including 75 projects with district budget capital, with a total investment of 763 billion VND, the total capital granted in 2024 is 131 billion VND, disbursed 119.5 billion VND, reaching 90.7%; 11 projects with additional targeted provincial budget capital and 1 project with central budget capital, with a total investment of 322 billion VND, the total capital granted in 2024 is 31 billion VND, disbursed 17 billion VND, reaching 53.7%.
In October, in Nam Thuong commune (striving to reach the advanced new rural area (NTM) target), according to the reporter's records, many traffic routes have been completed, clean and beautiful. The remaining sections are being urgently implemented by the construction unit.
At Dong Bac Kindergarten - a project put into use in the 2024 - 2025 school year, Ms. Bui Thi Hong - Principal of the school said: "From an old, degraded school, students now study in a new, spacious school. We don't know what to say other than thank the Party and the State."
According to Ms. Hong, the school and parents are all very excited to receive such investment, helping students and teachers feel secure in studying and teaching.
Mr. Bach Cong Du - Director of the Kim Boi District Construction Project Management Board said that in order to support the commune in achieving its goals, the unit is making efforts to implement solutions and urge contractors to focus on speeding up the construction progress of works serving the NTM criteria such as: traffic roads in Boi Ca, Nam Thuong, Binh Tan, Nam Bai hamlets; traffic roads in Boi Ca, Nam Thuong, Binh Tan, Nuoc Ruong hamlets; repairing and upgrading roads in Boi Ca, Nam Thuong, Nam Ba hamlets.
In addition, Kim Boi district focuses resources so that Xuan Thuy and Kim Lap communes have enough conditions to meet the NTM criteria.
According to Mr. Du, the unit regularly inspects, urges, and removes difficulties and obstacles for construction units. The entire political system is actively involved in propagating and mobilizing households whose land is affected to promptly hand over the site to the construction unit.
Up to this point, many projects have completed their documents and are awaiting final settlement. The remaining projects currently under construction are ensuring progress and quality compared to the requirements set by the district.
