Recently, at Kiên Lương District, Mr. Mai Văn Huỳnh - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Kiên Giang Province - attended and presented the decision on personnel work of the Kiên Lương District Party Committee and the leadership of the Department of Finance of Kiên Giang Province.
The conference announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Board on the matter of Mr. Nguyễn Thống Nhất ceasing to participate in the Party Committee, the Standing Board, and ceasing to hold the position of Secretary of the Kiên Lương District Party Committee; and reassigning and appointing Mr. Nguyễn Thống Nhất to the position of Director of the Department of Finance of Kiên Giang Province, with a term of 5 years from the date of appointment.
Subsequently, the Provincial Party Committee announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Board on the matter of reassigning and designating Mrs. Trần Thu Hồng - Provincial Party Committee member, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union of Kiên Giang - to participate in the Party Committee, the Standing Board, and hold the position of Secretary of the Kiên Lương District Party Committee, for the term 2020-2025.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Board, Mr. Mai Văn Huỳnh - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Kiên Giang Province - presented the decisions on reassignment and appointment of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to Mrs. Trần Thu Hồng, the new Secretary of the Kiên Lương District Party Committee, and Mr. Nguyễn Thống Nhất, the new Director of the Department of Finance of Kiên Giang Province.
Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mai Văn Huỳnh congratulated the two officials on their new tasks, and expressed his hope that Mr. Nhất and Mrs. Hồng would continue to utilize their abilities and strengths to complete their tasks well in the time to come.
