Attacked by mad buffalo, 2 people in Bac Lieu hospitalized

Bac Lieu - A buffalo suddenly chased and gored 2 people, injuring them and requiring hospitalization.

On December 20, Loc Ninh commune, Hong Dan district, Bac Lieu province reported that a rare accident had just occurred in the area. A buffalo was said to have gone mad and chased and charged at two people, resulting in injuries.

According to initial information, at around 6:45 a.m. on December 20, Mr. Danh Tam (residing in Dau Sau Tay hamlet, Loc Ninh commune, Hong Dan district) was preparing to lead the buffalo to the field to graze, when suddenly the mad buffalo chased and gored two nearby residents, injuring two victims.

The victims were identified as Mr. D.C (65 years old, residing in Dau Sau Tay hamlet, Loc Ninh commune) and Mr. D.T (70 years old, residing in Dau Sau Dong hamlet, Loc Ninh commune).

Upon discovering the incident, nearby residents quickly took Mr. C and Mr. T to the Hong Dan District Medical Center for treatment. Currently, the health of the two victims is stable.

The incident was then reported by Mr. Tam to local authorities.

Immediately upon receiving the news, Loc Ninh Commune Police coordinated with relevant units and local people to promptly control the buffalo and visit and encourage the victim's family.
