On February 4, Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung inspected the progress of the project to build a road connecting National Highway 19 to Becamex Vsip Binh Dinh Industrial Park connecting to Quy Nhon port.
The project has a total investment of more than 1,160 billion VND, with a route length of more than 19km, a roadbed width of 12m, and construction of 7 bridges on the route. The project passes through Van Canh, Tay Son districts and An Nhon town. The project implementation period is from 2022 to 2025.
On the main route (from Km0 - Km12+945), the contractor has completed the roadbed, completed 5/5 bridges, 27/27 large box culverts and 43/43 circular culverts. Currently, the contractor is constructing the crushed stone layer and continuing to pour crushed stone and complete the remaining stages of the project.
Mr. Luu Nhat Phong - Director of Binh Dinh Province Traffic Project Management Board said that the project is being constructed on schedule. In order to bring the project to the finish line soon, in the coming time, the investor and contractor will increase machinery and equipment to speed up the construction progress.
In the immediate future, the investor and contractor will focus on completing the project of building a road connecting National Highway 19 to Becamex Vsip Binh Dinh Industrial Park connecting to Quy Nhon Port before March 31 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Binh Dinh Province Liberation Day (March 31, 1975 - March 31, 2025).
At the inspection, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the coordination and handling of difficulties during the project implementation process between the investor, contractor and local authorities, contributing to speeding up the project progress.
"The project to build a road connecting National Highway 19 to Becamex Vsip Binh Dinh Industrial Park connecting to Quy Nhon Port is now no longer a problem. By the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Dinh province, the project must be completed and inaugurated before March 31 to celebrate the liberation of Binh Dinh homeland. The contractor must speed up, work even when it is sunny," Mr. Ho Quoc Dung suggested.
