On October 6, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan inspected the construction progress of the North-South Expressway project, the section passing through Binh Dinh province; 2 key traffic projects of the province, including: The route connecting National Highway 19 to Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park connecting to Quy Nhon Port and the Southern bypass (Phu Phong town).
Absolutely no plastic carpet when it rains
After inspecting the Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon and Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh component projects of the North - South Expressway project, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan acknowledged the efforts of the investor and the project construction units. At the same time, he affirmed that he would create the most favorable conditions to speed up the project's progress.
At Son Trieu tunnel (in An Nhon town and Tuy Phuoc district) under package 11-XL of the Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh section project, Song Da 10 Construction Corporation said that up to now, the tunnel construction volume has reached 75% of the contract value, ensuring progress.
At Km50+465 to Km57+460 of package 12-XL of the Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon section project, Phuc Loc Group Joint Stock Company has carried out gravel paving and is spreading cement reinforced aggregate (CTB). Currently, this unit is also speeding up important items, especially the bridge and culvert systems on the route to ensure smooth flow during the coming rainy season.
At the scene, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that the volume of earth to be filled in the expressway project is very high, so contractors need to quickly handle and reinforce the positive slope to avoid landslides when the rainy season comes.
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan requested that construction units, supervision consultants, and investors must ensure technical and quality standards, and absolutely not lay asphalt concrete on the road surface when it rains.
It is known that the North-South Expressway Project, the section passing through Binh Dinh province, is 118km long, including 3 component projects: Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon (27.7km), Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon (70.1km) and Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh (21km).
Ensure quality of each item
At the province's two key traffic projects, the Binh Dinh Province Traffic Project Management Board said that up to now, the contractors of the two projects have basically ensured progress.
For the Project of Construction of the road connecting National Highway 19 to Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park connecting to Quy Nhon Port, the contractor is carrying out excavation and embankment of 12.3/12.9km of roadbed. The value of construction and installation to date is 248.4 billion VND.
Regarding the Southern Bypass Road Construction Project, contractors are constructing the roadbed, grading crushed stone and drainage works; installing poles for the lighting system. The construction value to date is more than 232.6 billion VND, reaching 57.6%.
Through on-site inspection, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan requested the construction units to ensure the quality of each item of the project; the investor needs to urge contractors to proactively implement disaster prevention plans at the construction site; limit the impact of rain and floods on the completed volume.
