Binh Dinh - Regarding the management of donations and sponsorships at historical and cultural relics, the Chairman of Binh Dinh province requested transparency in revenue and expenditure.

On October 11, according to information from the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, the Chairman of this province has just requested agencies, units and localities to strengthen state management of donation money and sponsorship money at historical and cultural relics in the province.

Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested localities to proactively implement tasks and solutions to manage donation money and sponsorship at historical and cultural relics; ensure that donation money and sponsorship for relics and festival activities are used strictly, publicly, transparently, for the right purpose and in accordance with regulations.

Strengthen propaganda work, regularly inspect and supervise the management and use of donations and sponsorships; promptly detect, rectify and strictly handle organizations and individuals who violate the law; absolutely do not allow negativity, corruption, or taking advantage of belief and religious activities for personal gain.

The Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance to guide relevant localities in state management of donations and sponsorships at relics in the area.

Organizations and individuals who are owners or assigned to manage relics are requested to strictly implement regulations on management of donations and sponsorships at historical and cultural relics.

Carry out public and transparent collection and disbursement of donations and sponsorships for relics and festival activities. Strictly manage received money, including money in donation boxes; open a book to record all receipts and disbursements.

Install surveillance cameras at points of receiving and counting donations and sponsorships; encourage the implementation of donations and sponsorships in the form of transfers via QR-Code scanning at relic sites.
