On April 15, in Cao Bang City, representatives of 12 Border Guard Station of Cao Bang and Ha Giang (Vietnam) held a meeting of the first quarter with the Bach Sac border management team, Guangxi province (China).
In the friendly atmosphere, the two sides highly appreciated the cooperation results in the first quarter. The two sides maintained effective communication with 188 exchanges via letters and phones; 42 meetings directly and a periodic talk. The functional forces of the two countries regularly share information related to the border situation, border gates and cross -border crimes.
The Vietnamese side has destroyed many cases, prosecuted an illegal exit organization; Arrest 9 cases/45 illegal immigration; seize 5,725kg of tobacco ingredients.
The two sides coordinated to handle 41 cases/301 violated citizens, of which China handed over 270 Vietnamese and Vietnamese citizens to return 31 Chinese citizens.
At the talks, the parties agreed to strengthen information sharing, combined patrols, strict control of hot spots, coordinate the handling of arising cases.
At the same time, promoting law propaganda for residents of the border area, contributing to ensuring security, stability and developing the border economy.
