On February 12, Colonel Tran Huu Ich - Commander of the Military Command (CHQS) of Da Nang City, authorized by the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, visited, inspected and wished Tet to the armed forces on duty in Cu Lao Cham Island and Cua Dai area on the occasion of Binh Ngo Spring 2026.
The working delegation visited and encouraged officers and soldiers of Cu Lao Cham Border Guard Station, units directly under Battalion 70 (City Military Command) and Cua Dai Border Guard Station.
At units, the Commander of the City Military Command acknowledged and praised the spirit of responsibility, organizational discipline and determination to strictly maintain the combat readiness regime of officers and soldiers during Tet.


In the inspection program, the delegation directly monitored the anti-aircraft artillery platoon practicing alarm and deploying combat readiness plans.
As soon as there was an order, officers and soldiers quickly maneuvered to their positions, deploying formations in accordance with regulations, ensuring time, safety and in accordance with the principle of coordinated command.
Through inspection, it was found that the unit maintained strict training discipline, proficient situation handling ability, and was ready to receive and complete tasks when situations occurred.
Speaking at the inspection, Colonel Tran Huu Ich requested units to continue to raise vigilance, strictly maintain the combat readiness regime; strengthen patrols and guards, strictly manage the area; proactively grasp the situation early and from afar; closely coordinate between forces, not to be passive or surprised in any situation.
Especially during the Lunar New Year when the volume of ships and tourists increases, units need to do a good job of ensuring security and safety in sea and island areas, river mouths; be ready to participate in rescue and relief when requested, contributing to maintaining a peaceful environment for people to enjoy Spring and welcome Tet peacefully and safely.
On the occasion of the New Year, on behalf of the city leaders, the Commander of the City Military Command presented Tet gifts to encourage officers and soldiers; sent New Year wishes for health, solidarity, and excellent completion of assigned tasks.
