On April 14, the People's Council of Binh Phuoc Province held a thematic meeting through the Resolution of the Project of component 1 Investment in the construction of the North -South highway in the West, Gia Nghia section (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) in the method of public -private partnership.
At the same time, the People's Council of Binh Phuoc province approved the supplementation of the public investment plan from the central budget in 2025 for 2 high -speed projects.
Accordingly, arranging VND 1,000 billion to build Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh highway. This highway project has a 7km long passing through Chon Thanh town, Binh Phuoc province.
Arranging 10,536 billion dong to implement the North -South highway in the west, Gia Nghia section (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc).
Gia Nghia Expressway Project (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) has a length of 128.8 km, with 4 lanes design. In particular, the section through Dak Nong province was implemented with 27.8km, through Binh Phuoc with more than 100km. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, put into operation in 2027. Binh Phuoc province is urgently starting this highway.
According to the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Province, these two highways will be connected together in Chon Thanh town. The project will make the transportation of goods more economical; create motivation for socio -economic development of large areas in Binh Phuoc and Dak Nong.
