General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defence presented 20 gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and 30 gifts to officers and soldiers of the Ha Tinh armed forces facing difficult circumstances.
Also at the meeting, General Phan Van Giang presented gifts to the collective of the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Ha Tinh Provincial Police for their effective coordination in ensuring national defense and security in Ha Tinh.
Previously, General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense worked with Ha Tinh province on the socio-economic situation, national defense and security in the first 9 months of 2024.
After listening to the report on the socio-economic situation, national defense and security, especially the information that Ha Tinh currently has more than 3,000 households facing housing difficulties, General Phan Van Giang shared his wish that ministries and branches coordinate to mobilize resources to support the locality in eliminating all temporary and dilapidated houses so that no one is left behind in the era of national development.
Minister of National Defence Phan Van Giang said that in the coming time, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence will support Ha Tinh to build 500 houses for poor families and families in difficult circumstances in Ha Tinh province.
