The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway Project is part of the North - South Expressway in the East, invested by the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board, passing through 3 communes: Hoa Lien, Hoa Son, Hoa Nhon (Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City). The project started in September 2023 and is expected to be completed in 2025 with a length of about 11.5km and a total project investment of nearly 2,113 billion VND.
These days, the construction site of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project is covered with dust, especially at the two intersections with Hoang Van Thai Street and the extended Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (Lien Chieu District).
According to many drivers, it takes more than 2 hours to travel through this section of road. Partly because the construction site is under construction, and partly because the hot weather causes dust to fly up, obscuring visibility.
Previously, Mr. Phan Van Ton - Chairman of Hoa Vang District People's Committee - said that currently, the site clearance work has reached 11.27km/11.47km, the site is basically completed, there are only 2 cases of forced eviction, there was a time when the construction unit only brought a machine, scraped a little and then stopped.
On November 16, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Danh Huy inspected the construction status of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project.
Through inspection, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Danh Huy said that the three construction units, Truong Son Construction Corporation, Traffic Construction Corporation 5 and One Member Company Limited 17, mobilized machinery and equipment for the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project but did not meet the requirements. The construction site was unsynchronized and sloppy, as if the machinery was being "showed off".
All three construction units mobilized machinery and equipment that did not meet the actual requirements. The signs on the road were very grand, but the construction site was deserted.
