Maximum support for people
Immediately after implementing the 2-level local government model, the People's Committee of Buon Don commune has urgently coordinated with relevant units to implement vocational training for rural workers.
Thereby aiming at the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period of 2025 - 2030.

Vocational training classes are organized by the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of Buon Don in coordination with local authorities. Before opening the class, the list of students is carefully reviewed by relevant units, ensuring the right subjects according to regulations.
At the same time, after finishing the vocational training course, people will have access to preferential loans to develop household economy and expand livestock farming.
The loan documents and procedures are well guided by grassroots staff; the Social Policy Bank branch will disburse quickly if the beneficiaries are correct.
These are considered synchronous steps in solutions to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty for ethnic minority people in the area.

For example, Mr. Tran Phu Hai (Buon Don commune) was a poor household 5 years ago. Next, his family was able to borrow 40 million VND under the breeding cow program to buy 5 cows. Currently, the herd has developed to 13 cows, the family's economy is stable, and he escaped poverty in 2024.
Ethnic minorities in the area, seeing his example of overcoming difficulties, boldly registered to attend vocational training classes. In 2025, the whole commune will have 70 students attending a livestock class. Everyone hopes that after finishing the course, they will have the skills to access loans and escape poverty.

In fact, in the past 5 years, many rural workers in the commune have accessed preferential loans to develop the economy in many different forms. Thanks to that, the commune has reduced the number of poor and near-poor households, achieving the target set by the Resolution for the period 2021 - 2025.

Monitoring and ensuring effectiveness
