According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper at the end of February 2025, up to now, the road connecting National Highway (QL) 3 and Provincial Road (DT) 269B deployed in Phu Binh District, Thai Nguyen Province has been basically completed, the road surface is paved with asphalt.
Some roads have been expanded, replacing small, narrow sections to make it easier for vehicles to travel.
At the construction site, workers, machinery, and mechanical vehicles are urgently leveling, paving asphalt, constructing hard bridges and some other auxiliary items.
To implement the project, more than 14.3 hectares of 482 households were reclaimed. Having a house near the project, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim (Tan Kim, Phu Binh) happily said that when the project was implemented, the people were very happy and supportive.
"After many months of implementation, the road is almost completed, and people are looking forward to the project being completed and put into use soon. The completed road will make travel easier, shortening the distance and travel time," said Ms. Kim.
The road connecting National Highway 37 and DT.269B was started at the end of December 2023, with the Thai Nguyen Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor.
The project has a total investment of over 222 billion VND, the completion progress is after 420 days. According to the design, the route is 6.1km long, passing through 3 communes: Xuan Phuong, Tan Kim, Tan Thanh (Phu Binh), starting point connecting to the main road in Xuan Phuong commune, ending point intersecting with DT.269B at Km5+450.
The project is constructed by the Thai Nguyen - Vina Joint Venture, including Tan Thinh Company Limited, Huu Hue Construction and Trading Company Limited, Vinastar Construction Development Joint Stock Company, Vinadelta Joint Stock Company.
According to the investor, up to this point, the compensation, site clearance and resettlement work for the main route has been handed over at 13.29/13.31 hectares, reaching 99.8%, striving to complete the site clearance work in February 2025.
The progress of roadbed construction reached 85% of the volume (constructed over a total length of 6.1km), road foundation was granted with crushed stone and reached 84%, asphalt concrete road surface reached 66.39%.
On the route, there are 2 bridges that have been constructed to 85% of the volume, of which the Kenh bridge has reached 72%, the Tan Kim bridge has reached 98%. Other items reached 89% of the volume.
When the route is completed and put into use, it will contribute to the formation of a connecting road axis, promoting the development of industry and eco-tourism in the area.
