On the afternoon of July 20, Mr. Vo Duc Dien - Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Tung Commune (Quang Tri Province) confirmed that a pig had just appeared at Cua Tung beach area, passing through Hoa Ly village.
The time the pig appeared was around 3:00 p.m. the same day. While swimming in the sea, many locals and tourists suddenly discovered a pig swimming close to the shore. The average size of the schools is the pony, swimming well in shallow water near the edge of the waves.
This rare appearance makes Cua Tung beach bustling. Tourists and locals cheered, took their phones to record pictures of the snakehead fish, and some even rowed boats or swam out to sea to play with it. After about 30 minutes, the pigs leave the beach and swim away.
According to Mr. Vo Duc Dien, it is not uncommon for pimps or elephants to swim near the shore, often occurring when they enter shallow water to find food and leave for a short time.
The locality regularly integrates the conservation of marine species such as elephants, porcs, and sea turtles in propaganda work for vehicle owners and coastal tourism service establishments. Thanks to that, people have raised awareness of environmental protection, kept distance and not harmed marine animals when they discovered them, said Mr. Dien.
