According to Notice No. 277/TB-SXD dated November 2 of the Department of Construction of Phu Tho province: Prohibit cars from traveling through Lo River Bridge, Doan Hung commune; only allow two-wheeled motorbikes, three-wheeled motorbikes, motorbikes (including electric motorbikes), rudimentary road vehicles and traffic participants to travel through the bridge.
Vehicles traveling through the Lo River Bridge must travel at a maximum speed of no more than 20 km/h and must not stop or park on the bridge.
Time for traffic flow and organization: Starting from 1:30 p.m. on November 2, 2025 until further notice.
During the prohibited period, other vehicles traveling through the bridge move in the following direction, specifically as follows:
The first direction (from the center of Doan Hung commune to Hong Son and Dong Tho communes - Tuyen Quang province passes through Kim Xuyen bridge): Travel on National Highway 2 to km99+800 National Highway 2 - turn left onto the Kim Xuyen bridge approach road - continue to travel through Kim Xuyen bridge to follow the direction of Tuyen Quang province and vice versa.
Second direction (from Phu Tho province to Tuyen Quang province passing through An Hoa bridge): Travel on National Highway 2 to Km12+800 National Highway 2 - turn onto Provincial Road 186 - continue to travel through An Hoa bridge and vice versa.
The Department of Construction assigned the Phu Tho Traffic Construction and Maintenance Project Management Board to direct the road management unit to adjust the traffic diversion and organization signs across the Lo River Bridge according to the provisions of this Notice.
The Phu Tho Traffic Construction and Maintenance Project Management Board, the road management unit and relevant agencies and functional units shall guide, regulate and organize traffic flow through the Lo River Bridge to ensure traffic safety.
At the same time, assign the road management unit to closely monitor and regularly inspect (24/24 hours a day) the Lo River bridge project and promptly report to the Department of Construction and relevant agencies to handle it to ensure safety of traffic through the Lo River bridge.
The Department of Construction also requested the Traffic Police Department - Provincial Police, Doan Hung Commune Police to pay attention to coordinating in organizing guidance, regulation, and traffic flow through the Lo River Bridge to ensure traffic safety.
Previously, from October 27, the Department of Construction announced a ban on all people and vehicles crossing the Lo River Bridge (old notice) due to the bridge's damaged T3 bored pile.
A few days later, the Road Technical Center - Vietnam Road Administration conducted an initial inspection and assessment of the bridge's condition and proposed a plan to organize traffic through the Lo River Bridge.
