About 856 billion VND is needed to clear the land for 2 expressways

Lam Dong - Local authorities are implementing compensation and site clearance for 2 expressway projects with a total cost of about 856 billion VND.

Mr. Truong Hoai Minh - Chairman of Bao Lam District People's Committee (Lam Dong) said that he has issued a document implementing compensation, support and resettlement when the State reclaims land to implement the Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project.

According to statistics, the total length of Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressways passing through Bao Lam district is more than 15.3 km.

The total area affected when implementing the expressway construction is about 114 hectares, with more than 300 households and a number of units and enterprises in Loc Tan, Loc An and Loc Duc communes.

Of which, more than 85 households have houses, with a total rural land area of about 2.2 hectares; the remaining area is agricultural land for growing coffee, mulberries and fruit trees.

In addition, there is also a station in Loc An commune in the district, with an area of about 10 hectares. It is estimated that the total cost of compensation and site clearance is about 856 billion VND.

Up to now, the tasks under the authority of Bao Lam District People's Committee have been implemented on schedule, in the emulation campaign "500 days and nights determined to complete the expressway" launched by Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.

Bao Lam District People's Committee is assigning specialized units to implement compensation, support and resettlement work.

The work focuses on: Building residential areas and resettlement for affected people; coordinating with the Provincial Traffic Project Investment Management Board to set up markers and receive handover of local boundaries; preparing conditions for counting, counting, classifying the area of recovered land and people's assets to submit a plan approving compensation and support for land recovery.

Along with the implementation of compensation and site clearance, Bao Lam District People's Committee has completed the procedures to report to Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval of the policy of building a Residential Area and Resettlement in Loc Thang Town to serve the Expressway Project.

This project has a total area of 3.8 hectares, including 104 lots, with a total investment of 36 billion VND. Currently, the project has not been approved due to some difficulties and problems.

Regarding the Loc Thang Town Resettlement and Resettlement Area Project, the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has issued a document assigning the Department of Finance and the Department of Construction to review related contents to report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration before March 13, 2025.
