Widespread rain warning in Hue

    HUE - From the night of October 20 to 24, it is forecasted that there will be widespread rain in Thua Thien Hue.

    On October 20, the Hydrometeorological Station of Thua Thien Hue province said that from the night of October 20 to 24, the province will have rain, moderate rain, scattered heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain and thunderstorms; total rainfall for the entire period will be 100 - 250mm, some places will be over 350mm, with the heaviest rain concentrated on October 21-23.

    Heavy rain is forecast to cause flash floods, landslides and rock slides in mountainous areas.

    People should be on guard against localized heavy rain in a short period of time that could cause flooding in urban areas and areas with poor drainage systems.
