The meeting approved the purpose and requirements of the plan to implement the Bac Lieu Provincial Planning; key tasks of departments, branches, and localities assigned by the Provincial People's Committee.
Bac Lieu Province requests units and localities to develop a roadmap to effectively organize and implement programs and projects to well implement the goals, tasks and solutions set out in the Provincial Planning; organize the establishment and adjustment of urban planning, rural planning, technical and specialized planning to ensure consistency and synchronization.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet affirmed that Bac Lieu's potential and potential for exploitation is still quite large, so departments, branches and localities need to take advantage of and promote available resources to develop the socio-economy and promote investment attraction. It is necessary to focus on implementing land use planning, housing planning, especially resettlement areas.
Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thieu emphasized that to achieve the targets set out in the Plan, it is necessary to have the strong participation of the entire political system, the consensus of the community and businesses to turn resources into reality. Delay in planning and announcing the plan means losing the opportunity to call for investment and development of the province.
Chairman of Bac Lieu requested relevant departments, branches and localities to closely follow the Planning and Plan to focus on implementation.
It is known that on September 12, 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 968/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister: Promulgating the Plan to implement the Bac Lieu Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
