At around 10:30 a.m. the same day, a fire suddenly broke out at an apartment at 158 Pasteur Street, Ben Nghe Ward.

The incident happened on the weekend, so many residents quickly evacuated to the yard.
Some people living nearby tried to use fire extinguishers on the spot to put out the initial fire.
Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched many specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene.
The Pasteur road area through the apartment building has been temporarily blocked for authorities to carry out firefighting.

The fire was quickly extinguished afterwards, but the police continued to spray water to cool the scene, to prevent the fire from breaking out again.

The incident fortunately did not cause any casualties. The cause and damage of the fire are currently being investigated by the authorities.
