Detecting a fire, people inside the garage used on-site means to put out the fire, but were unsuccessful. Because the inside contained mattresses, foam, cotton balls and flammable materials, the fire broke out very quickly.
In just a few minutes, the fire spread to an area of hundreds of square meters accompanied by many explosions, causing people to flee in panic. At this time, people urgently moved their property and pulled cars out onto the street to avoid the fire from spreading.
Receiving the news, Binh Duong Provincial Fire Fighting Police mobilized many fire engines and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.
By 10:30 a.m. the fire was under control. The fire caused many properties to be destroyed, and a neighboring house was scorched.
An employee said that there were 5 cars inside the store, but only 4 cars could be pulled out, while 1 car was close to the fire and was burned to the ground.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Binh Duong Provincial Police said that the fire did not cause any human damage. The cause is currently being investigated.
