Big fire at Thanh Da market in Ho Chi Minh City, police pull dragon hoses to put out the fire

HCMC - The fire started from a row of kiosks at Thanh Da market, Binh Thanh district, and the authorities are currently trying to put out the fire.

Initial information, at around 10:15, the fire started from a row of plastic stalls in Thanh Da market (Binh Thanh district). After that, the fire flared up fiercely and spread. People tried to put out the fire on the spot but failed. The stalls have concrete walls and corrugated iron roofs. The market is located between Thanh Da residential area, opposite the headquarters of the Ward Police and the People's Committee of Ward 27, Binh Thanh District.

According to eyewitnessors, dozens of people brought fire extinguishers to put out the fire but could not. The fire then spread quickly to nearly a dozen stalls selling clothes, food, children's toys, and household appliances. Many fire trucks and more than 50 soldiers arrived at the scene. Firefighters pulled the dragon fruit to put out the fire, trying to prevent the fire from spreading.

Traders in front of the burning stalls quickly collected goods and moved their assets outside to avoid damage.

Currently, the authorities are still trying to fix the fire, the cause and damage have not been announced.
