Big fire at a wedding center in Ho Chi Minh City, traffic congestion

HCMC - A fire broke out at a wedding center on Song Hanh Street, Hoc Mon District. More than 5 fire trucks and many soldiers arrived at the scene to rescue.

On June 20, dozens of firefighters and rescue police, Ho Chi Minh City Police in coordination with relevant professional units were controlling the fire that broke out inside the wedding center on Song Hanh Street, Trung Chanh Commune, Hoc Mon District.

Initial information, at around 7am the same day, people living on Song Hanh Street, near the wedding restaurant area, heard many loud explosions. When people came to check, they discovered a fire inside. The fire caused traffic congestion in this area, forcing vehicles to temporarily change direction.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police, Ho Chi Minh City Police quickly arrived at the scene with more than 5 fire trucks and dozens of soldiers. Firefighting work is being urgently deployed to control the fire and prevent damage from spreading.

Currently, a section of Song Hanh Street is being blocked to serve fire fighting. The authorities recommend that people and vehicles traveling through this area should choose an alternative route to avoid congestion.
