At noon on December 19, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of the People's Committee of Nghia Hai Commune (Nghia Hung District, Nam Dinh Province) confirmed that a fire had just occurred in the area.
Initial information, at around 10am the same day (December 19), at the warehouse of a leather shoe company in Nghia Hai commune (Nghia Hung district), a fire suddenly broke out.
Upon receiving the news, local authorities and fire prevention and rescue forces quickly arrived at the scene to handle the fire.
"Up to now (10:40 am), the fire has been completely controlled, with no casualties. The area where the fire broke out is the company's warehouse, separate from the area where workers are working. The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit," said the leader of Nghia Hai Commune People's Committee.
Currently, the case is being further investigated by the authorities.
