At around 6:00 p.m. on March 22, a fire broke out at house number 307H on Bach Mai Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi City, causing local traffic congestion.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Hanoi City Police Command mobilized 4 fire trucks from the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police (PCCC&CNCH) of Hai Ba Trung District along with many officers and soldiers to the scene. Due to the fire on the attic, the fire control work encountered many difficulties.
To ensure safety, the authorities have temporarily blocked the road from Thanh Nhan - Bach Mai intersection to Ta Quang Buu intersection, limiting traffic through the area.
At around 6:40 p.m., the fire was completely extinguished. According to initial information, the fire broke out from the attic. When the incident was discovered, the homeowner and the people quickly reported it to the authorities.
The incident did not cause any human casualties. However, all the assets on the attic floor were burned down. The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
