Factory fire in residential area in Binh Duong

In Di An city, Binh Duong province, a fire broke out in a fabric factory, the fire burned fiercely.

The fire broke out at around 7pm at a 500m2 fabric factory located in alley 28, Phan Boi Chau street, Di An ward, Di An city, Binh Duong province.

When the fire was discovered, people used on-site fire extinguishers to put it out but were unsuccessful. In just a few minutes, the red flames engulfed the entire factory, accompanied by a column of smoke rising dozens of meters high.

The factory is located in the middle of a residential area, so residents quickly found ways to move their belongings out onto the street.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Binh Duong Province mobilized many vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene. The officers and soldiers were divided into many directions to spray water to put out the fire.

About an hour later, the fire was under control and no longer had the ability to spread. At this point, the factory collapsed and many properties were burned.

According to records, until 8:30 p.m., police were still spraying water at the scene to completely extinguish the fire.

Police are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
