Information from the leader of Cam Xuyen town People's Committee said that the fire at Hoi market in Cam Xuyen town occurred at around 2:00 a.m. on November 18.
After that, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police dispatched forces and fire fighting vehicles to put out the fire.
By 4am the same day, the fire was extinguished. However, five kiosks in the area behind the market hall were burned down. Those were kiosks selling plastic utensils.
Fortunately, the fire caused no casualties, property damage is being assessed.
According to initial assessment, the cause of the fire may be an electrical short circuit.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
