On the morning of April 24, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Tran Minh Loi - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Loc Commune, Phu Tho Town confirmed that a fire and explosion occurred in the area, injuring 2 people.
According to the preliminary report of the People's Committee of Ha Loc commune, the incident occurred at around 8:45 p.m. on April 23 at the house of Mr. Do Van Vinh (born in 1972) in Zone 6, Ha Loc commune.
The 2-storey house that caught fire and exploded was rented by Mr. Vinh to Mr. Duong Xuan Anh (born in 1991, residing in Zone 7, Phu Ho Commune, Phu Tho Town) from April 6, 2025.
As a result, Nguyen Huu Anh Quan (born in 2009, residing in Zone 4, Dai An Commune, Thanh Ba District, Phu Tho Province) and Duong Nhat Khang (born in 2009, residing in Quang Yen Commune, Thanh Ba District) suffered severe burns and were taken to the hospital for emergency care.
Currently, the cause of the fire and explosion is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
