On the morning of December 11, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of the People's Committee of My Xa Ward (Nam Dinh City) said that a fire was breaking out near Thai Tuan Company in Hoa Xa Industrial Park in the ward.
"Up to now (around 8am), the authorities and fire fighting vehicles are controlling the fire to prevent it from spreading to nearby houses," said the leader of My Xa Ward People's Committee.
According to people living near the area, at the time of the fire, there was light rain in the area.
