According to initial information, at around 4:00 p.m. on November 29, people discovered smoke and fire breaking out from the basement of a beauty salon on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Ban Co Ward (HCMC). At the time of the fire, there were 5-6 guests and staff inside the facility.

As soon as the incident was discovered, people shouted to put out the fire and quickly brought all guests and staff out safely. Just a few minutes later, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police force arrived, dispatching 3 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to approach the scene. Ambulances are also deployed for emergency rooms.
According to people at the scene, when the fire broke out, black smoke was rising from the underpass. People also heard a loud explosion before the fire broke out fiercely.


At around 4:30 p.m., the fire was completely controlled, not allowing the fire to spread. No casualties were recorded in the incident. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
