Fire at public headquarters in Hai Phong, damage to some papers and documents

    Hai Phong - On the afternoon of May 29, Hai Phong City Police informed about the fire that occurred at No. 1 Dinh Tien Hoang, Hong Bang District.

    At 1-29 p.m. on May 29, Command Center 114 (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the City Police) received a report of a fire at the headquarters of the Department of Planning and Investment (now merged into the Department of Finance, address No. 1 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Hong Bang District, Hai Phong).

    Immediately after receiving the report, the leaders of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department mobilized the Area 1 Team with 4 fire trucks to the scene and quickly deployed a fire fighting formation.

    The fire was determined to have occurred on the 2nd floor of the 2-storey building, the damage was mainly documents and papers and there were no human casualties.

    The fire was completely controlled and extinguished at 6:35 p.m. the same day. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated and clarified.
