Fire at wood factory in the center of Hai Phong city

    At noon on September 23, Hai Phong City Police informed about a fire at a wood workshop in Dang Lam ward, Hai An.

    At 11:05 a.m. on September 23, Center 114 - Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH), Hai Phong City Police received a report from residents about a fire at a wood workshop located at Lane 67, Kieu Son, Dang Lam, Hai An, Hai Phong.

    Immediately, the leaders of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department mobilized forces and vehicles including 2 fire trucks of Hai An District Police, 1 fire truck of Ngo Quyen District Police and 1 fire truck of Team Area 1 (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department) to urgently go to the scene to deploy the fire fighting formation.

    By 11:30 a.m. the same day, the fire was basically extinguished. Authorities sprayed coolant and moved wood outside to extinguish the fire.

    Initially determined, the fire did not cause any human casualties.

    Currently, Hai An District Police are receiving the scene to investigate the cause of the fire according to regulations.
